EVENING CLASSES:
These 6 week pottery classes are run on Wednesday and Friday evenings from 5.30pm to 8pm, occasionally they may run over a little so please allow for this.
These are fixed dates and individual sessions are unable to be transferred:
When booking any on these courses please allow for a weeks break between week 5 and week 6, this allows for work to dry and be bisque fired before your final week of decorating and glazing.​​

WEDNESDAYS EVENING BEGINNERS COURSE: £300 per person.
These pottery classes are designed to help you build confidence and develop new skills. Over the first four weeks, you will explore the four principal pottery techniques. Each week, the tutor will demonstrate one technique and guide you through the process of creating a piece of work using that method.
Throughout these sessions, you will receive step-by-step support to craft your initial piece and will be encouraged to develop your own style and confidence as you progress.
In the final two weeks, the focus will shift to various decorating techniques and glazing. The tutor will provide demonstrations and hands-on assistance to ensure you feel supported at every stage of the process. All tools and materials are included along with 6 pieces of finished work.

FRIDAY EVENING: £250 per person.
"The Friday evening classes are designed to be relaxed and free-flowing, and are for people who are not yet ready to work independently but have a good understanding of the basics. These sessions provide a supportive environment where you can bring your own projects to life at your own pace. With the guidance of a skilled tutor, students receive personalized assistance, constructive feedback, and creative inspiration to develop their ideas and refine their techniques. Whether you're experimenting with new concepts or building confidence in your skills, these classes offer a bridge between structured learning and full independence. `all tools and materials are included along with 6 pieces of finished work.

TASTER SESSIONS: £75 per person.
Suitable for Beginners.
​These classes are run on a Sunday morning between 10am and 12.30, unless stated otherwise.
All the above sessions run for 2.5 hours and are designed for the beginner or people wishing to " have a go". As an introduction to pottery, you will have the opportunity to make a small bowl on the potters wheel, hand-building a piece and have a go at tile-making. Included in the price is one piece of work which we will bisque fire, glaze and re-fire for you. This will be ready for collection at a later date, additional pieces can be fired at a small additional cost.

INDIVIDUAL TUITION:
Half-Day: £130 + £100 per additional person, if you wish to bring a friend.

During this 2.5-hour session, you'll receive personalised tuition tailored to your interests, whether you wish to focus on throwing, explore hand-building techniques, or a combination of both. If you prefer, we can also work with you to bring your own creative projects to life. The price includes one piece of work, you are more than welcome to keep as many pieces as you wish for a small additional fee. All work will be carefully fired and ready for collection at a later date.

INDIVIDUAL TUITION - 3 SESSIONS:
Make, Decorate and Glaze - 3 session Workshops: £390 any additional person £300.
Running 10.30am-1pm
All levels
This Make, Decorate & Glaze course, gives the student the opportunity to start from scratch and be taken through the main stages of pottery making, starting with plastic clay through to the decorating and glazing. Addition sessions can be added if required.
First session: you will learn a little about clay and be taken through a range of making techniques - including hand building and throwing 'potters wheel' and produce a selection of work, some of which will be used for practicing decorating techniques in the next session.
3 pieces of finished and glazed work are included in the price.
Second session: you will start to decorate the pieces, using various techniques - possibly slips, sgraffito, paper-resist and finish all work ready for bisque firing.
Third session: which needs to be a few weeks latter once the work has thoroughly dried and been bisque fired. There will be the opportunity to use oxides, underglazes and glaze your work before its final glaze firing.
Each session is 2.5 hours long. Three pieces of work are included in the price and a small fee is charged for any additional pieces you may wish to keep.

These One-to-One workshops can be designed to accommodate all level, but are particulate beneficial for people who are already proficient throwers and who wish to improve their existing skills.

Our Cancellation Policy
As our classes and courses are run with small numbers or as individual lessons, they are non-refundable. However, courses or classes may be transferred to another date within the same calendar year, subject to availability, provided at least 7 working days' notice is given before the scheduled start. Cancellations made less than 7 working days before the course or workshop will not be refunded or transferable.
Please note, the cost of a course covers the full set of specified weeks, not individual sessions.
